Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive - April 12th 2018

The University of Oklahoma Facilities Management and OG&E are hosting an Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive event with assistance from OU Parking and Transportation, local car dealers, and representatives from Central Oklahoma Clean Cities.  Learn about the cleanest way to drive by talking to electric car owners and experts. You’ll have the chance to ride in and even drive some of our featured vehicles.

The event will take place April 12th from 11 AM - 2 PM in the southeast quadrant of the Lloyd Noble Center parking lot. We will have electric cars available for test drives, including the Toyota Prius Prime, Chevy Bolt, Chevy Volt, and Nissan Leaf.

Additionally, we’ll be providing education on electric vehicle technology and campus electric vehicle charging stations.  Plus, there will be a t-shirt giveaway to the drivers.  Make sure to bring your valid driver license.  Drivers will be required to sign a waiver.
