OU Freshmen Fall to Spring Retention Rate Increases to 95.5%

NORMAN – The University of Oklahoma has announced that the freshmen fall to spring retention rate reached an all-time high of 95.5% this year, the highest percentage ever recorded at the University.
Increasing the freshmen and overall retention rate has been a major focus of the University. Since President David L. Boren arrived on campus, the fall to spring retention rate for freshmen has increased from 91.7% to 95.5%.
“I am very proud of the fact that our freshmen retention rate has continued to increase over the years,” said OU President David L. Boren. “This achievement is a strong statement about the commitment to academic excellence at the University of Oklahoma.”
