To schedule an appointment, call (405) 325-4441.  Call early in the day for increased availability.  In-person and telehealth appointments are available.  Telehealth appointments are being offered at this time for most health concerns to enhance patient and campus safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

You will be asked to:

  • Select an appointment date and time (or if you prefer, the first available appointment)

  • Select a healthcare provider (or if you prefer, the first available healthcare provider)

  • Describe the reason(s) for your visit - A specific amount of time will be allotted for your appointment based on your reason(s)

  • Designate whether you prefer your visit to be in-person or through the Zoom telehealth platform. (You may be contacted by your provider if your choice will have to be modified to provide proper care.)

Urgent issues

If you have an immediate need that cannot wait for an appointment, please call 325-8732 to be assessed by a nurse. You will then be worked into a medical provider's schedule based upon your need. Due to social distancing guidelines and because there are different routes to access the building based on symptoms, it is important to discuss this with a nurse first.

You will be given a phone number to call when you arrive for your appointment if it is confirmed your appointment will take place in-person rather than through telehealth.

Remain outside of the clinic and call before entering the building once you arrive.

For your safety and the safety of the OU campus, we request that you do not come to the Health Center unless instructed to do so by our staff.  Visitors are not allowed unless the patient is a minor child and then must be accompanied by one (1) parent or guardian.

Telehealth Appointments

For the safety of our patients and staff, we will be offering telehealth visits for most health concerns. Many visits can be accomplished through online telehealth visits, but we are available in the office to address those needs that can’t be accomplished remotely.  To discuss the best option for scheduling an appointment, please call 325-4441 to speak to a medical appointment specialist.

What is a telehealth appointment?

Telehealth visits are online virtual visits with a health care provider either using telephone and/or digital video consultations.

How do I fill prescriptions?

Goddard pharmacy is still open. To avoid waiting in line for prescriptions, sign up for text alerts by calling 325-5165 or call before you come into the pharmacy to confirm your prescriptions are ready. Ask us about curbside delivery.  Prescriptions may also be sent electronically to any outside pharmacy of your choice.

Telehealth visits may be billed to your health insurance plan.  If telehealth visits are not covered under your plan or if you do not have health insurance, a telehealth visit will cost no more than $20.

Faculty and Staff:

The University’s health plans will continue to cover behavioral health and medical services through telemedicine and telehealth visits. Members also have access to clinically appropriate medical and behavioral health services delivered through telemedicine with no copays or deductibles for in-network visits through August 31, 2020 in response to the coronavirus outbreak. This will make it easier for members to access care while reducing their risk of exposure. This change applies to both the PPO and High Deductible Health Plan.

Patients may receive a note to verify their visit to see a health care provider. This note will provide the date of your visit and may be used to present to instructors or employers.
