COVID Testing 

We are able to test our students, faculty, staff, and dependents*.  To schedule a COVID-19 test, please call 405-325-4441.

*Dependents must be at least 12 years of age and accompanied by a legal guardian. Dependents under the age of 12 must schedule an appointment with a healthcare provider before testing.

What to Expect:
Follow the directions below PRIOR to calling to schedule your COVID-19 appointment:

  • Go to Health Connection: 
    • If you have an account, log in. 
    • If you are a new user, click register.
    • if you get an error that an account already exists, reset your password.
    • If you get an error that we have no record of you in our database, please call (405)325-4441 so that we may set up an account for you.
    • To get your username or password reset: click Login, use the reset password link. You will receive an email that contains your set username and a link to create a new password. 
    • If you do not receive an email within an hour of resetting your password or registering, call the appointment line for assistance (405)325-4441
  • Click on the ‘Forms’ link and complete the following:
    • New Patient Paperwork*
      • Communication Preference
      • Consent for Treatment, Payment and Operations
      • Acknowledgment of Receipt of NPP
        *If these forms are listed as ‘Completed’ they do not need to be resubmitted
    •    COVID-19
      • Consent for COVID Testing
          *This form must be completed prior to every test conducted
  • Once these forms are submitted, call to schedule a COVID test (405)325-4441

o   Please have your current insurance information with you, the appointment specialist will update your insurance, current address, phone number, and email.

  • At this time, all COVID tests are free and not being filed with insurance.

CDC Guidance if you are sick with COVID

When you arrive for your appointment, please enter through the south doors (ramp entrance). Have your OUID ready, wear a mask, and remain distanced from others. 

If you have fever or respiratory symptoms (cough, difficulty breathing),  call the Nurse Line at 405-325-8732 to get instructions BEFORE coming to OUHS.

Please call 911 or go to a local emergency department if you are experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion
  • Inability to wake or stay awake
  • Bluish lips or face

In response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, we have divided the clinic into a respiratory illness clinic and general clinic.  We are open during our normal operating hours of Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Hours and availability of certain services may be limited or changed depending on staff availability during the COVID-19 response.  Click here for department details. Many visits can be accomplished through online telehealth visits, but we are available in the office to address those needs that can’t be accomplished remotely.  To discuss the best option for scheduling an appointment, please call 325-4441 to speak to a medical appointment specialist.
