Events, Workshops, & Training
The reception is a social gathering; graduates do not “walk” at this event. No reservations are required unless graduates plan to attend in a party of five or more (email email@example.com to make a reservation). The preferred attire is business casual; feel free to wear your cap and gown.
Professional Ethics Training (Responsible Conduct of Research)
All GTAs and GRAs are required to complete the Professional Ethics Training seminar. During training, students will learn about real-world issues encountered by researchers, acquire strategies for tackling research challenges, and engage in discussion with graduate students in other disciplines.
Graduate Teaching Academy
Graduate Teaching Academy (GTA) seeks to promote and maintain a standard of teaching excellence amongst graduate students at the University of Oklahoma. The academy is open to all current graduate students and postdocs who are interested in professional development activities focused on enhancing teaching to improve student learning.
