Frequently Asked Questions About President's Associates
How are President's Associates funds utilized?
President's Associates funds are allocated by the President to support top priorities that strengthen OU's position as a pacesetter in American public higher education.
I want to support the University, but I also would like to support my college. Can I do both through the President’s Associates Program?
Yes. Regents’ policy allows half of the contribution to be designated for a college or academic program, so you can belong to the President’s Associates and give to your college at the same time. You may also choose to give 100 percent of your gift to support the President’s highest priorities.
What options do I have when making my contribution?
Signing a pledge card begins your membership as an Associate. Your tax-deductible gift can be made at that time or at a later date either by check, debit card, credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover), or stock transfer. Participation is on an annual basis. You will be invited to renew your membership one year from the date of your initial gift.
My company has a matching gift program. How do I use this plan?
Matching funds are accepted for this program. All you have to do is fill out the matching gift form (available from your Human Resources department), send it to OU with your gift, and the OU Foundation will take care of processing the funds with your company.
Where on campus may I park with my Associates parking permit?
Associates parking permits allow our guests access to all gated lots. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Parking on the Parrington Oval (North Oval) or in metered spots is not permitted.
Who may use my guest parking pass?
Guest parking passes are for members and/or spouses. Faculty, staff and students are not permitted to use guest parking passes.
