International Graduate Admissions

Applicants must submit transcript(s) from their last degree-granting institution. To minimize your application's time to review, please upload a copy of your official transcript and degree certificate from your last degree-granting school with your application. You should also request an OFFICIAL transcript and degree certificate from your last degree-granting school and mail them to the Office of Graduate Admission. Please send your transcript to:

Office of Graduate Admissions

Graduate applicants must, at minimum, possess or be in the process of completing, the equivalent of a 4-year US Bachelor’s degree. In most cases, a 3-year Bachelor’s degree is not sufficient for graduate study at the University of Oklahoma.

AFTER ADMISSION: If you have earned more than one degree (Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral Level), you will be required to submit official transcripts and degree certificates from ALL degree-granting institutions during your first semester of enrollment. Please note, you should have already submitted your official transcript and degree certificate from your last degree-granting institution prior to your admission.

The Office of Graduate Admissions evaluates all international credentials. We do not use the evaluations of external international credential agencies.

Special Instructions:

If your transcript is issued by your university in a language other than English, we require the official, original language document as well as an official, or certified, English translation.

Applicants from India: If your university issues mark-sheets, we require original and complete university mark-sheets. Consolidated mark-sheets are not acceptable.

Applicants from Iran: To be considered official, your English translation and accompanying Persian document must bear the stamp of the Department of Official Translators’ Affairs.
